Thomas Rasmussen

Thomas Richard Rasmussen, 75, passed away December 2, 2022, at Forsyth Medical Center.  He was born on April 7, 1947, to the late Alfred and Margaret Rasmussen. Tom was preceded in death by his brother William and grandson Joshua. He is survived by his beloved wife Charlotte and his children Donna (Danny) Sealine, Adam (Deborah) Rasmussen, Heidi (Ted) Grippo, and Kyle (Elissa) Rasmussen; 9 grandchildren Matthew, Zachary, Jacob, Sage, Kai, Juliana, Zander, Naia, and Kayley.

Tom was born and raised in Whitestone, NY where he met Charlotte, his high school sweetheart and wife of 56 years.  They moved to Stormville, NY where they continued raising a family. He worked for Thomas’ English Muffins for 38 years before retired to Lewisville, North Carolina in 2008.  Tom had a lifelong passion for the game of golf, starting at age 14.   Known as “Razz” on the course, he was a competitive golfer that would play 8 days a week if he could.

There will be a celebration of his life held at Reynolds Park Golf Course on Saturday, January 7, 2023 and in New York in April.
