Thomas Dean McGalliard

PFAFFTOWN McGALLIARD - Mr. Thomas Dean McGalliard passed away Monday, September 6, 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born March 22, 1940 in McDowell County, NC to the late Thomas Frank McGalliard and Bertha Lee Victoria Ward McGalliard. Mr. McGalliard retired from R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company with over 30 years of service. He also was a business owner in King, NC for over 15 years. Mr. McGalliard was a member of King Moravian Church where he served on the Board of Trustees. In addition to his parents, Mr. McGalliard was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce M. Atwood. Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Pat Moser McGalliard; daughter, Cheryl McGalliard Boisvert and husband, Brad; two granddaughters, Lauryn Michelle Boisvert and Emily Reagan Boisvert; three nephews, Steven Atwood, Michael Causby and Broderick Causby; and two nieces, Marlene Dalton and Melissa Cockerham. A Funeral Service will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, September 9, 2010 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with the Rev. Gerry Befus officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at the funeral home.
