Thomas George McCunniff

Mr. Thomas George McCunniff, 27, of Charlotte passed away Saturday November 3, 2012 at Wake Forest Baptist Health. He was born in Winston-Salem on June 10, 1985 to Dennis Edward and Ann Jones McCunniff. He received an associate degree from Central Piedmont Community College in engineering and attended UNCC. He enjoyed music, his dogs and being with family. He was an accomplished guitar player and songwriter. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ruth Stephenson Jones. He is survived by his parents; his sisters Fay Blythe (Jeff) and Rebecca Ann McCunniff; grandparents Thomas George and Nina McCunniff, and Robert Lee Jones, Jr; 2 nephews as well as many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church 1:00 PM Wednesday November 7, 2012 with Friar Bill Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 pm until 8 pm Tuesday November 6, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
