Mr. Thomas Stephen Cain, 72, of Winston-Salem died Monday, March 1, 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born May 26, 1937 in Forsyth County, the son of the late Rev. Guy S. and Flossie Sloan Cain. Mr. Cain was a member of Forsyth Friends Meeting and The Oldtown Masonic Lodge. He was a member of the singing group, ""The Group"". In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Avon Cain. Survivors include his wife, Doris Adams Cain of the home; one daughter, Dawn Cain-Fulp and two grandchildren, Aurora Fulp and Zoe Fulp all of Winston-Salem; two brothers, Max and Sloan and one sister, Alice. A memorial service will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 PM at Forsyth Friends Meeting with J. J. Jacobson, Willie Frye, Rev. Arkon Stewart and Dr. Cecil Cave officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Masonic Home for Children at Oxford, 600 College Street, Oxford, NC 27565.
