Thomas Hubbard Brock, III

Mr. Thomas Hubbard Brock, III, 76, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2015, at Forest Heights Senior Living Community. Mr. Brock was born on May 26, 1939, in Durham, NC to the late Thomas Hubbard Brock, Jr. and Laura Preddy Brock. Tom was a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Campbell University. He retired as the Vice President of International Sales with R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. Tom traveled extensively all over the world with R.J. Reynolds. He was involved in laying the groundwork for R.J. Reynolds presence in Asia. Mr. Brock is survived by his beloved wife, Linda McKnight Brock; two sons, Thomas Hubbard Brock, IV and wife, Jennifer of Rocky Mount, NC and David Ross Brock and wife, Jennifer of Columbia, SC; two granddaughters, Annabelle Edens Brock and Margaret Ann Brock; one sister, Alice Schultz and husband, Donald of Chicago, IL; and numerous other loving relatives. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 10, 2015, at Augsburg Lutheran Church with Pastor Ron Rinn, Pastor Daniel Pugh, and Vicar Brandon Heavner officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Augsburg Lutheran Church, 845 W. 5th St., Winston-Salem, NC 27101 or Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC, 3655 Reed St., Winston-Salem, NC 27107.
