WINSTON-SALEM-Mr. Thomas ""Tommy"" E. Brandon, age 66, of Winston-Salem passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at his home. He was born March 19, 1948 in Forsyth County, to the late Ruben and Louise Brandon. Baptized at the age 7, Tommy attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses and faithfully served Jehovah for many years. He retired in January 2000 from UPS after 31 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Kimel Brandon; two sons, Kevin (Jan) and Eric (Alison) Brandon; one daughter, Emily (Scott) Snider; stepchildren, Jonathan and Amanda Essick; six grandchildren, Megan, Ana and Layla Brandon, Alex Snider, and Colton and Logan Pedder; and loyal friend, Bo. A memorial service will be conducted by Jack Welborn (a good friend of the family) at 5:00 pm on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at the South Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on 3799 Old Lexington Road, Winston-Salem, NC. A special thank you to Hospice, family, and friends for their support. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials may be made to Kate B.
