Thomas Allen

Mr. Thomas William “Bill” Allen, 86, passed away Monday, March 4, 2019.  He was born May 30, 1932 in Rockingham County to the late Thomas William Allen Sr. and Verlie Jolly Lalonde.  Bill was a member of the Walnut Cove Masonic Lodge and the King Order of the Eastern Star.  He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Virginia Davis Allen; three daughters: Tonya Allen, Robin Allen, and Terri Allen; sister, Peggy Roberts; and dear family friends the Huffman family.  The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Lee Johnson at Forsyth Hospital.  A memorial service will be conducted 10:00 AM Saturday, March 9 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel.  The family will be receiving friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
