Theofanis "Theo" Theofanous

Mr. Theofanis Theofanous ""Theo"" of Winston Salem passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at the age of 76.

Theo was born in Xeros, Cyprus and immigrated to Ontario, Canada and later to Winston-Salem, NC where he founded EuroService Automotive, a business he operated for 35 years before retiring.

He is survived by his sons, Dino of New York, New York, John and wife Leigh of Palm Harbor, Florida and Alex of Charlotte, NC, and his two granddaughters, Isabella and Ava. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. May his memory be eternal.

A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 2:00 PM officiated by Father Demetri Kangelaris at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 435 Keating Dr., Winston Salem. Following the service, he will travel to his ancestral home of Cyprus where he will be laid to rest.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Theo's name to support Thalassemia research, a rare blood disorder that took his nephew much too young. Please donate at www.thalassemia.org.
