Mr. Theodore William Wein, Jr., 90 of Pfafftown passed away peacefully on June 10, 2013 at Vienna Village. He was born June 8, 1923 in Biloxi MS to Theodore W. Wein, Sr. and Marguerite Fraas Wein. He served his country in the US Army during World War II and was honorably discharged attaining the level of Sergeant on February 25, 1946. While in the service, he met his future wife, Emily Louise Hamilton and they were married July 26, 1946 in Winston-Salem. Mrs. Wein passed away February 22, 2007 after 60 years of marriage. Mr. Wein worked for the US Postal Service retiring in the mid-1980's. Mr Wein is survived by his daughter, Deborah Wein Smith and husband, Donald of Murfreesboro, TN; his son, J. Mark Wein of Pine Knoll Shores; and his daughter-in-law, Karen Wein-Gordon of Westfield. He is also survived by his four grandchildren, J. Andrew Wein, Alissa Joslin and husband, Stan, Bethany Flemings and husband, Phil and Mark H. Smith; and three great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Friday, June 14 at 2:00 pm at Forsyth Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
