Theodore Boyd Tilley

TILLEY - TOBACCOVILLE Mr. Theodore Boyd Tilley, 79, passed away Friday, May 10, 2013 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. He was born in Forsyth County on January 1, 1934 to the late Bert Cox Tilley and Floyd Thomas Tilley. Mr. Tilley retired from Piedmont Tobacco Company and also from Terminix. He was a member of Marshall Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Tilley was preceded in death by 4 siblings. Surviving are his loving wife, Betty Sue Tilley; two sons, Randall Tilley and Ricky Tilley; three grandsons: Tyler Tilley, Jake Tilley and Jacob Rogers; and also, five siblings: Ray Tilley, Paul Tilley, Junior Tilley, Alma Jean Combs and Harold Tilley. A graveside service will be conducted to celebrate the life of Mr. Tilley at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 15 at Pfafftown Christian Church Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, May 14 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall.
