Thad Knight

Mr. Thad Gray Knight, 64, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 14, 2021, with family at his side.  He was born November 6, 1957, in Forsyth County to Mrs. Colleen Shaffer Knight and the late Max Knight.  Thad was a master craftsman in sheet metal who was seen as some what of a perfectionist.  He was an avid NASCAR fan, specifically a Dale Earnhardt Sr. fan.  Thad is survived by his two brothers, Philip Knight (Ellen) and Edwin Knight; nephew, Ben Knight; and two nieces, Rachel Knight and Katie Knight.  A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, November 19th at Forsyth Memorial Park.  The family will be receiving friends from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM Thursday, November 18th at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.  The family would also like to extend a special thank you to Thad’s good friend, Mike Lindley for is continuing care of Thad.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
