Terry J. Jones

Mr. Terry J. Jones, 71, passed away on Friday, March 19, 2010 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Mr. Jones was born November 22, 1938 in Forsyth County to the late Duemont and Estelle Wilkes Jones. He was a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitter's Union for 45 years. He was an avid golfer and was a member of Wilshire Golf Club, where he enjoyed spending time with his friends. Terry was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Lois S. Jones; his three sisters, Pat Gilbert (Louis) of Topping, Virginia, Bonnie Turner (John) and Judy Howard (Wayne) of Winston-Salem. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Terry is also survived by two stepchildren, George Calcutt, Jr. and Deborah Callahan (Bill); four grandchildren, Tonya Stratton (Scott), David Maxcy, Jr. (Tonia), Ami Newby (Jimmy) and Jennifer Oringderff; and 7 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Sunday, March 21, 2010 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care 101 Hospice Ln Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
