Terry Dean Cook

Mr. Terry Dean Cook, age 56 of Advance, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2014 at his home. He was born April 7, 1958 in Davie County to the late Norman Eugene and Norma Mae Smith Cook. Mr. Cook retired from R.J.R Archer Division after 28 years of service. He is preceded in death by his wife of 29 years, Sandra Irene Cook. He is survived by one son, Jason Rice (Tess) of Mocksville; one daughter, Lisa A. Baker (Mike) of Pfafftown; seven grandchildren, Jordan Baker, Jonathan Baker, Kara Rice, Madison Baker, Dakota Miller, Nicholas Baker and Dyllan Causey; one brother, Gene Cook (Gaylene) of Advance and one niece, Holly Cook also of Advance. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel by Rev. Karen Kurtz. Burial will follow in Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethlehem United Methodist Church, Good Neighbor Fund, 321 Redland Rd.
