Terrie Linn McNutt Hall

Terrie Linn McNutt Hall, 53, of Lexington, NC, passed away Monday, September 16, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born July 19, 1960 in Macomb County, Michigan to Gordon Ezben and Loretta Shankle McNutt. Ms. Hall was a member of Pinedale Christian Church. She was a well known non-smoking activist where she worked diligently. She served as secretary for the International Association of Laryngectomy for the past nine years. She also served as president of Western Piedmont Speak Easy Club. She was a recipient of the Surgeon General Medallion for her work in Public Health with the CDC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sara Ashley Hall. Surviving are one daughter, Dana Solano and husband Jimmy of Lexington; three grandchildren, Christopher, Jeffery and Alec; two brothers, Steven McNutt of Winston-Salem and Roger Bruchay and wife Lisa of California; and her stepfather, Bobby Wayne Sink of Lexington. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 21 at Pinedale Christian Church with Pastor Bill McKenzie officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
