STEVENS PFAFFTOWN - Teresa ""Terri"" Stout Stevens, of Pfafftown, passed away gently and peacefully in the early morning hours of Wednesday, January 27 2010, at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born in Forsyth County on March 10, 1951 to James J. Stout, Jr. and June Douglas Stout. She was an avid outdoor lover. She especially loved to deer hunt and was quite the marksman with a bow. In quiet times, she enjoyed sitting out on the deck for hours watching the birds that were attracted to the many feeders she provided for them. Terri is survived by her husband, Timothy Shea Stevens; a son, Bret Lee Stevens and wife, Jennifer Morton Stevens; a beautiful new granddaughter, Sydney Shea Stevens; her parents, James J. Stout, Jr. and June Douglas Stout; and one sister, Carla Stout Watkins. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home for their care; and a special thank you to Ellen Krejci, Terri's nurse for much of her stay. The family would also like to especially thank Lynn Southern Angel who cared for Terri while at home in her last months. The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 29 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Mr. Tom Nussbaum and Mr. Al Goff officiating. Mrs. Jessie Bowen will be delivering the eulogy and Mr. Bret Stevens will have special words. Burial will follow at Union Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery in East Bend. The family will receive friends from 7 to 10 p.m. Thursday, January 28 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103 or to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
