Teri Lee Smith

Teri Lee Smith, 58, of Winston Salem, died on September 10, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. Born March 5, 1954, at Ft. Knox, KY, to Dr. Lee and Duane Virts Smith and spent her early school years in Brunswick, MD. Teri is predeceased by her father, Lee Smith; and uncles Floyd Smith, Noel Virts and Gary Virts. Besides her mother, she is survived by two daughters: Heather and Ashley Alva of Winston-Salem and one grandson, Jacob Henry Pope. She is also survived by two sisters: Robin (Carl) Green, Erie, PA, and Mindy (Tim) Niles, Hampstead, MD. She will be especially missed by aunts Nancy Virts and family, and Pat Smith and family.
