Teresa Goff Jones

Ms. Teresa Goff Jones, age 59 passed away October 9, 2016 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem. Teresa was born in Forsyth County, December 17, 1956 to Carter Davis Goff and Maude Snider Goff. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in King and retired from Hanesbrands Payroll Department with 41 years of service. In addition to her parents, Teresa was preceded in death by her Soul Mate of 17 years Rufus Cooke and sister-in-law, Sue Goff. Teresa is survived by the greatest loves of her life twin sons; Jordan (Kerry) Jones and Jason (Sarah) Jones. Two grandchildren; Charlotte and Hugh Jones. One sister, Esther (Joe) Marion, two brothers; Jerry Goff and Rex Goff. Three nieces; Michelle (Tommy) Phelps, April (Mark) Smith and Martha Goff. Three great-nieces; Rachel Phelps, Lauren Phelps and Josie Sockwell. One great-nephew, Garrett (Tiffany) Bowman. Teresa also had many caring and supportive friends whom she loved. Funeral services for Teresa will be held Wednesday afternoon October 12, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Trinity United Methodist Church in King by Rev. Bart Milleson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Wednesday from 12:30 P.M. until time of the funeral service. The family would like to extend a special Thank You to the many Doctors, Nurses and staff for all the dignified assistance and care provided to Teresa while at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.
