Teresa Ford

Mrs. Teresa Diane Wineke Ford, 66, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2022.  She was born March 1, 1956, in Baltimore, MD to the late Fred and Mildred Wineke.

Family and friends were most important to Terry.  She was extremely loyal and fiercely protective, especially of her kids and grands.  She was outspoken, feisty, bold, and a very strong woman.  Terry loved life, especially at the beach in Emerald Isle, NC.  She spent hours looking for shells and shark’s teeth and sitting in her chair looking out over the ocean and sky while reading her latest book.  Terry loved to socialize with friends, go to live music events, play cards and games.  She was very happy that Greg and her were able to travel to many places in the US and Europe over the last two years.

In addition to her parents, Terry is preceded in death by her son, Matt Ford; sister, Jeannie Gruver; and brother-in-law, Cary Clark.  She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Greg Ford; son, Mark Ford; two granddaughters, Emma Ford and Nina Ford; sister, Chris Clark; six nephews; three nieces; and ten great-nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted 3:00 PM Saturday, December 10th at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel.  The family will receive friends from both 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM Friday, December 9th and 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM Saturday, December 10th prior to the service at the funeral home.  Following the service there will be a celebration of life held at the Ford home.
