Teresa Branch

Kernersville – Mrs. Teresa Lynn Davis Branch, 56, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Kernersville Medical Center. She was born on July 14, 1964 in Maryland to Claude Wilson and Ruth Haithcock Davis, Jr. Teresa could light up any room with her beautiful smile and her bright blue eyes. She loved to laugh and to make others laugh. Teresa really enjoyed cooking and was very good at it. She was always there when anyone needed her. She loved her family and loved children. Teresa was a kind and loving wife, daughter, stepmother, sister, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her father, Teresa was preceded in death by her stepfather, Ed Hudson and two nieces, Christina Carroll, and Chelsey Smith. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Dale Branch of 15 years; her mother, Ruth Haithcock Davis Hudson; three stepchildren, Heather Thompson (Madison), Brandon Darby (Theresa), and Danielle Widner (Garrett); eight step grandchildren, Henry, Charley, Eleanor, Elizabeth, Benjamin, Connor, Walter, and Payton; her siblings, C.W. Davis (Donna) and Angela Davis Smith; four nieces and nephews, Amanda Davis, Kaylee Davis, Michael Carroll, and Scottie Smith; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who she was very close with.

Due to restrictions for public gatherings, a private family memorial service for Teresa will be held at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. There will be no formal visitation. However, friends are welcome to come and visit the family at Dale and Teresa’s home at 1624 Ridgestone Lane, Kernersville, NC 27284 or to Ruth’s home at 2412 Satterwhite Point Road, Henderson, NC 27537. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
