Teddy Jackson Lewis of Winston-Salem, North Carolina was born on November 24, 1953 died unexpectedly on January 3, 2013. He was 59 years old. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Edward Lewis, and his mother, Maggie Lee Mabe Lewis as well as several brothers and sisters. A devoted and loving husband and father he is survived by his wife, Virginia Louise Herring Lewis and his son Clarence Jackson Lewis. He is also survived by his three sisters, Carolyn Hodge of Rural Hall, Rosa Seacrest of Thomasville and Robin Crooks of King as well as several nieces and nephews. Teddy was a hard worker and spent 20 years at Burns Aero Seat Company, which was later Fairchild Industries. He later went on to have his own business in Winston-Salem, specializing in lawn equipment repair. In his spare time Teddy enjoyed watching sports, specifically NFL Football and NASCAR Racing as well spending time outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. A service will be held on Sunday January 6, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. with a visitation after. He will be greatly missed. Please have the family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
