Ted Richard Jones

KERNERSVILLE - Mr. Ted Richard Jones, 77 died Sunday, September 16, 2012 at Thomasville Medical Center. Ted was born on March 18, 1935 in Forsyth County to the late Robert Albert and Ella Booth Jones. He was employed by Thomasville Chair Factory for 44 years and was an active member of Mt. Carmel Free Will Baptist Church in Lexington. In addition to his parents, Ted was preceded in death by his brother, Otis Jones and sister, Marie Jones. Surviving are two brothers, Roy Jones (wife, Betty) of Kernersville and Charlie F. Jones (wife, Betty) of Winston-Salem; a sister-in-law, Elinor Jones of Midway; and several nieces & nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Dr. Bobby Roberson and Rev. Darrell Cartrette officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
