HILL - PILOT MOUNTAIN
Mr. Ted Lee Hill passed away February 26, 2015 at his home. He was born June 29, 1933 in Surry County the son of the late Carl Hill and Viola Jessup Hill. Mr. Hill proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was the owner and operator of Ted Hill Construction. Mr. Hill was a member, Trustee, and Elder of Pine Ridge Presbyterian Church. He was also the General Contractor when the new church was built. Mr. Hill was a former member of the South Westfield Ruritan Club.
Mr. Hill is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Opal B. Hill of the home; one son, Bryan Hill and wife, Brenda of Waco, TX; and three grandsons: Dylan Hawley, Bryant Hudgins, and Harrison Hudgins.
A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 2 at Pine Ridge Presbyterian Church with Rev. Doug Brinkley, Rev. Jennie Hemrick, and Rev. Allen West officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends in the Fellowship Hall immediately following the service.
