Tanya Westmoreland Lemasters

LEMASTERS KING, Tanya Westmoreland Lemasters, 49, of King passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home following an extended illness. Tanya was born in Forsyth County on October 6, 1959 the daughter of Jack and Katie Hilton Westmoreland. She was a member of both King Christian Center on Brown Rd and Jefferson Church of Christ. Tanya was preceded in death by her grandparents James B. and Ruth Hilton and Thomas and Beulah Westmoreland. Surviving is her husband Wayne Lemasters and a daughter Katelyn Lois Lemasters, her parents Jack and Katie H. Westmoreland all of King, her sister Mitzi Westmoreland Vance and her husband Gene of Belews Creek, a special aunt and friend Darlene Laycock of King, A special cousin Amy Jo Westmoreland and many other cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 PM, Friday, July 24, 2009 at King Christian Center on Brown Rd. in King with Pastor Randall Smith and Rev. Walter Brewer officiating. The family will receive friends in the church Sanctuary from 5:00 PM until the service at 7:00 PM. Burial will follow at Jefferson Church of Christ Cemetery in Rural Hall. In lieu of flowers Memorials are requested to be made to King Outreach Ministry, 413 Kingsway Dr., King, NC 27021. The Lemasters family wishes to express a special thanks to Hospice and Palliative Care for their care and support during Tanya's illness.
