Tammy Mcgee

KERNERSVILLE – Mrs. Tammy Ann West McGee, 55, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at her home. Tammy was born on August 30, 1966 in Wilkes County to the late Thomas “Tom” and Barbara “Bobby Ann” Sprinkle West. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. Her kind and caring heart, led her to a 32-year career of Elder Care, working in assisted living environments and ultimately with Hospice patients. Tammy had a free spirit, read the Bible daily and loved singing, especially gospel songs. She was full of energy and full of life and was the perfect definition of “best friend.”  Tammy will be deeply missed.

Surviving are her husband of 35 years, Eric McGee; her daughters, Erika McGee King (Michael) and Alanda McGee King (Joey); a son, Joe Jones; a grandson, Ryan Samuel King; four brothers, Tommy, Todd, Gary, and Allen West; and one sister, Tonya West.

Due to the ongoing Covid pandemic and awareness, there will be no formal visitation with the family present. However, friends may come to view Tammy and sign the guest book on Monday, November 29, 2021 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Tammy’s children.
