Mrs. Tameryn Harrold Benfield, 50, of Winston-Salem, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. She was born November 16, 1958 in Ravenna, Ohio to David E. Harrold and Alice Witenko Harrold. Mrs. Benfield was a graduate of East Carolina University with a B.A. degree. She was a member of New Philadelphia Moravian Church and an active community volunteer. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Rick Benfield; one son, Michael Benfield, both of the home; two daughters, Shannon Benfield Lucas and husband Jowjie of Kernersville, and Allison Benfield Norman and husband Kyle of Winston-Salem; two brothers, Michael Harrold of Minnesota and David Harrold of Florida; five grandchildren, Sean, Skyler, Sydney, Emma, and Abigail; her grandmother, Mrs. George Witenko; and a host of extended family members. A memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, August 16 at New Philadelphia Moravian Church with Dr. Worth Green officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall. The family requests that memorials be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 2211 W.
