Talmadge "Tal" Eugene Pierce

Mr. Talmadge Eugene ""Tal"" Pierce, 49, of Lewisville died Thursday, October 2, 2014 as the result of a motorcycle accident. He was born November 18, 1964 in Forsyth County to Robert Watson and Sandra Fletcher Pierce. Mr. Pierce was a member of Lewisville Baptist Church and was a graduate of South Stokes High School where he played baseball. Following high school he played softball for his church and work teams. He was employed by Deere-Hitachi and enjoyed riding his Harley, hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his mother. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Yolanda Fearrington Pierce; his daughter, Odyssey Pierce and his grandson, Ryder Pierce who was the light of Tal's (BopBop's) life all of the home; his father of Davidson County; three sisters, Teri Voss (Lawrence) of King, DeeDee Pierce (Donald Truell) of Pinnacle and Risti Joyce of Davidson County; four nieces; one nephew; four great nieces and one great nephew on the way. The funeral service will be conducted Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Lewisville Baptist Church with Rev. Jo C. Bjorling and Dr. George D. Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
