Mrs. Sylvia Ann Tuttle, 80, passed away on April 15, 2017, at 1pm the heavens opened up and called her home. Sylvia was born in Forsyth County on March 7, 1937, to Mr. and Mrs. Paul L. Ellis. She was so full of life and loved her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. She was a beautician for 30 years and a very talented seamstress. She loved boating, fishing, and spending time with family, friends and her beloved dogs! Her family and friends will miss her beautiful smile, laughter, and look forward to being reunited with her in Heaven one day! In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Deborah Tuttle. Surviving are her loving husband of 62 years, Wallace Crawford Tuttle; two daughters, Robin McLean, and Michelle Goines; one son, Bryan Tuttle; seven grandchildren, twins: Ashley and Brianna Tuttle, Lauren Tuttle, Elijah Tuttle, Amber Frye, Robbie Smith, and Tisha Ward; and four great-grandchildren, Emily Ward, Courtney Ward, Dillon Ward, and Ellie Frye. A funeral service will be held at 11am at First Pentecostal Holiness Church. Interment will take place at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, from 6-8pm at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
