Sylvia Boles Satterfield

Ms. Sylvia Boles Satterfield passed away Friday, February 15, 2013 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born June 3, 1940 in Forsyth County to Howard and Ann Boles. She was an active member of Triad Christian Fellowship. Sylvia loved her children dearly. She was also a loving and devoted grandmother and great grandmother. She was known for possessing a genuine concern for others. Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters. Surviving is a daughter, Donna Maya and husband Raymundo; a son, Billy Satterfield; three grandchildren, Anna, Elena, and Garcia; six great grandchildren, Tony, Ethan, J.C., Eledy, George, and Baby Arthur. Also surviving are a brother, Bill Boles and wife Linda; and a sister, Barbara Rose. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Alan Malchuk officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. The family would like to express a special Thank You to her niece, Ann Boles for going well above and beyond the call; and also to Dr. Richard Brodkin of Forsyth Cancer Center for his wonderful care and dedication to Sylvia.
