Sylvia Hudson

Mrs. Sylvia Ann Reavis Hudson, 92, of Advance, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2022, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Sylvia was the youngest of three sisters, the late Josephine, Ruth Lee, and Lacy. She also had two brothers the late Nelson and Lawrence. Sylvia was born in Yadkin County to the late Benjamin and Nora Reavis. She was married to Noah David Hudson for over 60 years. She is survived by two sons, David and Basil Hudson; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Sylvia worked many years in clothing retail and was an avid gardener and rosarian, where she competed and eventually judged roses for the American Rose Society. She spent many years creating beautiful artwork and growing roses. A special thank you to Connie Wright, Debra Tuttle and Jim Richardson for their friendship throughout the years.
