Sylvia Annette Ashley

ASHLEY Sylvia Annette Myers Ashley, 72, of Mocksville died Friday, September 10, 2010 at her home. She was born February 23, 1938 in Forsyth County, the daughter of the late James Rufus and Sophia Frye Myers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Francis White and a grandson, Brandon Lee ‘Bub"" Ashley, a sister-in-law Carrie Myers. She leaves to cherish her memory two brothers, Jr. Myers and wife, Dot and Chuck Myers; her former husband, Kenneth Ashley , Florida. Her children, Penny Ashley, Danny Ashley and wife, Margie, Tina Craig and husband, Stanley, Kenneth Ashley and wife, Angela, Dorothy Roig and Gerri; 17 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; many cousins and her special friends, Stella, Marty and Doris. A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday at 4:00 PM at Westlawn Gardens of Memory Mausoleum Chapel in Clemmons with Rev. Jerry Russell officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
