Suzanne Foushee

Suzanne Quesinberry Foushee passed away February 27, 2023, after a short battle with lung cancer.  She was born in Mount Airy, Surry County, NC on September 10, 1946 to the late Owen and Polly Nichols Quesinberry.  She is survived by her son, Michael Richard Foushee, of Catawba, NC; brother, Freddie Quesinberry and wife, Cathy of Mount Airy, NC; Ms. Foushee is also survived by her nieces, Melissa Quesinberry of Mt. Airy, NC, Abigail Quesinberry and fiancé, Josh Schmittner of Raleigh, NC, Jill Quesinberry of Jacksonville, Florida and Elizabeth Quesinberry Chavez and husband, Adrian of Raleigh, NC; three great-nieces, Mireya, Lilliana, and Caroline Chavez along with great-niece and nephew twins, Isabel and Owen Schmittner; also surviving are her three nieces and the families of Tracy W. and Mark Goulding of Denver, NC; Connie W. Banner of Winston-Salem, NC and Julie W. and Ned Bates of South Nyack, NY.  In addition to her parents, Ms. Foushee was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Amber Nicole Foushee; sister, Daphne Quesninberry Ayers and her brother, Dudley Owen Quesinberry.  Our family is grateful for all the support and love from her dear, close friends over the years!  A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 18, 2023 at  Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home, 3315 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Lane Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
