Susan Lee Boone Ramey

Mrs. Susan Lee Boone Ramey ,64, of Clemmons, formerly of Akron, Ohio, and Alexandria, Virginia passed away December 31, 2009 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Akron, Ohio. She enjoyed researching her family and had traced her ancestors back to Daniel Boone. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a very thoughtful lady who always put everyone before herself. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lena Morgan Boone; her father John Boone; sisters Judy Jones and Doris Freeland. She is survived by her loving husband Leon Ramey of 46 years of the home, one daughter, Kimberly Lynn Hardgrove (Tom) of Waterford, New Jersey; one son Douglas Brian Ramey (Kristy) of Winston-Salem; two grandchildren, Jacob Hardgrove and Conner Henderson; and two sisters Barbara Muth (Glenn) of Akron, Ohio, and Rosemary Parsons of Akron, Ohio. A funeral service will be conducted 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 5, 2009 at Westlawn Gardens of Memory Mausoleum Chapel in Clemmons NC with Pastor Cecil Farmer officiating.
