Susan Wagner Conrad

Conrad Mrs. Susan Wagner Conrad, 83, of Advance, passed away peacefully Thursday August 9, 2012 at Bermuda Commons Assisted Living. Susan was born January 22, 1929 in Winston-Salem. She was preceded in death by her parents; Ruby Lee and Roby Lee Wagner and her husband Richard Brown Conrad. Surviving are her children; Richard (Rick) Lee Conrad of Blowing Rock; Anthony (Tony) A. Conrad of Kernersville, and Melinda Conrad Beauchamp and Chris Beauchamp of Advance. Her grandchildren Amanda Susan Beauchamp of Minneapolis, Minn., Alec Christian Beauchamp of Advance, and Conrad Lee Beauchamp of Advance; and a sister Ruby Lee Byrd of Greensboro. A funeral service will be held 2:30 PM Sunday August 12, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel, with Dr. Richard H. Capps officiating. Interment will follow at Salem Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Saturday August 11, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller. The family would like to extend thanks to Bermuda Commons Assisted Living and Liberty Hospice for their kind and compassionate care.
