Winston-Salem- Mrs. Sue Jordan Tugman, 61, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018 in the comfort of her own home surrounded by her loved ones. Sue's journey on Earth came to an end after her courageous two-year battle with Breast Cancer. She was born May 4, 1957 in Forsyth County, the daughter of Henry Frank and Norma Myers Jordan. Sue volunteered most of her time helping others. She spent many years at Griffith Elementary School serving as their PTA President; and a cheerleading coach for the Pop Warner Greyhounds. If she was not lending a helping hand you could find her sitting at her sewing machine or crocheting gifts for others. She enjoyed life and was the happiest surrounded by family and friends. Sue was a devoted wife, mother, Maw Maw and Aunt Sue Sue. She is preceded in death by her parents; a granddaughter, Katlynn Carol Keziah and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include her husband, Dan Tugman; four daughters, Amy Den Boer (Scott) of Summerfield, Katie Keziah of Waxhaw, Beth Bacon (Jon) of High Point and Emily Tugman of Winston-Salem; two brothers, Dink and Tommy Jordan; two sisters-in-law, Ella and Joyce; three brothers-in-law, Jim, Glenn and Don; seven grandchildren, Holden, Jonathan, Emma, Rylynn, Sarah, Addy and Olivia and many nieces, nephews and friends. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at St. Francis Episcopal Church (Greensboro) with Fr. Milton Williams officiating. An entombment service will follow at 2:00 pm Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, September 17, 2018 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com
