Sue Stack Caudle

Carolyn Sue Stack Caudle passed away on December 29, 2014 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born on August 22, 1933 to Pervie Allen Stack, Sr. and Della Warner Stack in Forsyth County. Sue enjoyed leading tours of R.J. Reynolds where she worked for 11 years. She was later employed by Forsyth Memorial Hospital where she worked until retirement. Her servant's heart was made apparent in her volunteer activities. Piedmont Hem-Onc Associates and the Cancer Center at Forsyth were each blessed to have her assistance. She was a recipient of the Jefferson Award for Volunteering. And her family always remained her greatest passion in life. Sue was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, Terry Caudle, Sr.; brothers, David, Leroy, P.A., and Harold Stack; sisters, Novella James, Alberta Grubbs, and Edith Settle. Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Skip Griffin (Judy), Susie Weddle (Mike), Scott Griffin (Paula), Lisa Davis (Kenny), Terry Caudle, Jr. (Connie), Marianne Hunter (Darrin); 14 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; a sister, Delores Flowers of Westpark, FL; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, January 2, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Chaplain Randy Hillman officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Kate B.
