Stuart Wesley Clinard, 66 of Clemmons, died Thursday, April1, 2010 at his home. Mr. Clinard was born March 19, 1944 in Forsyth County , a son of the late Luther Clinard and the late Lucille Turner Clinard. He was a US Navy veteran and was retired from RJ Reynolds with 35 years of service. He served in various capacities at Clemmons First Baptist Church and was an Assistant Boy Scout Leader for Pack 736 at Clemmons Civic Center . He was a member of the NC Genealogical Society where he had researched and traced many family members through DNA from around the country. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Cynthia Stroble Clinard, sons, Wesley Clinard, Jeffery Clinard, and Robert Clinard; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Clinard, Luther Clinard, and Nicholas Clinard; brother, Bobby Turner and wife Mildred; and several cousins. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at Clemmons First Baptist Church with Rev. Robby Phillips and Pastor Fred Sener officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 7-9 PM Monday at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel.
