Steven Tilley

On March 6, 2009, I lost one of the most precious gifts that God ever gave me. Steven Dwayne Tilley of Roy Farlow Rd, Sophia, NC, passed away in his home on Friday. Steve was 36 years old and loved his most cherished children more than anything on this earth. He loved sports and he loved all of his friends, and I know that he will be missed by many. Steve was preceded in death by his father Billy Joe Tilley. He is survived by his mother Nancy Tilley of the home and his two true loves, sons Ethan Dwayne Tilley and Landon Scott Tilley. He also dearly loved his brother Vincent Tilley, sister-in-law Kristen Tilley, and two nephews Marshall and Logan of Harrisburg, NC. He has a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews which he loved a lot. James Newberry and Sean Sears were his true friends; he told me that often. A memorial service will be held at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home, in Kernersville, NC, on Monday, 3/09/09 at 6:00 PM. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home immediately following the service.
