Steven Allen Grubbs

RURAL HALL Mr. Steven Allen Grubbs, 64, passed away Monday, October 29, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born in Forsyth County on July 21, 1948 to the late Mary Elizabeth Griffin Grubbs and Otis Rufus Grubbs. Mr. Grubbs was a member of Rural Hall Church of Christ. He retired from Brady's Furniture Company with 39 years of service. In addition to his parents, Mr. Grubbs was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Jr. and Gray Jr.; and one sister, Rebecca G. Fallin. Surviving are his wife, Diana Grubbs; two sisters, Virginia G. Belton and Patsy G. Martin; numerous nieces and nephews; and other extended family members. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Rural Hall Church of Christ, 435 Bethania-Rural Hall Road, Rural Hall, NC 27045.
