Steven Wallace Gentry

WINSTON-SALEM, NC-Mr. Steven Wallace Gentry, 64, of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2015, at his residence. Mr. Gentry was born on July 13, 1950, in Elkin, NC to Arvil Evon Gentry and Martha Jane Lyons Gentry. Steven served his country in the United States Army. Mr. Gentry was the owner and operator of Steve's Mobile Bug Shop until his retirement in 2012. Preceding Mr. Gentry in death was his son, Steven Gentry; his mother, Martha Coleman; and one brother, Jerry Lyons. Mr. Gentry is survived by his wife, Shirley Gentry of the home; one daughter, Julie Richardson (Alex) of Winston-Salem; one granddaughter, Lexie Richardson of Winston-Salem; his father, Evon Gentry (Dell); and one sister, Cindy Wiles (Greg) of Winston-Salem. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, June 22, 2015, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Interment will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons, NC.
