Steven Craig Furr

Mr. Steven Craig Furr, 47, passed away November 30, 2013. He was born on June 30, 1966 in Stanley Co. the son of Jerry Steven Furr and Patricia Deese Furr. Steven was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend, who will be missed deeply by all who knew him. He was a member of First Baptist Church of King and was employed by Plyer Supply in Winston-Salem as a sales representative. Steven will always be remembered for the time and dedication he put into area athletics, not only with his children but with many of the areas youth. He is survived by his wife, Tondrea Wall Furr of the home, his two daughters, Ashlyn Furr and Alyssa Furr, his son, Alston Furr, his mother, Pat Furr of King, his father, Jerry Furr of Winston-Salem, a brother, Jeff Furr of Pinnacle and a niece, Hunter Furr of Pinnacle. Funeral services for Steven will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 5, 2013 at First Baptist Church of King with Rev. Ken Evans and Mr. Jamie Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Rural Hall Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11:00-1:30 prior to the service at First Baptist Church of King.
