Steven Thomas Crowley

Mr. Steven Thomas Crowley, 58, of Clemmons passed away Saturday, May 9, 2009 at his home. He was born February 23, 1951 in Columbus, OH to Thomas H. and Rita Feeney Crowley. Steve was a member of Clemmons Presbyterian Church. He joined First Atlanta Corporation in May of 1981, which merged with Wachovia Corporation in 1984. Steve concluded his 28 year career with Wachovia as the Modeling Team Leader of Insight and Innovation. Steve's intelligence and calm strength touched the lives of both young and old. With a twinkle in his eye, Steve was a loving husband and father and a caring co-worker and friend. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Claire Michelle Crowley. Surviving is his wife, Lora Marvel Crowley; a daughter, Alison Rita Crowley; his parents; and 13 siblings, Linda, Trish, Jim, Sue, Mary, Dave, Cindy, Brian, Terry, Karen, Betsy, Chris and Tom. A memorial service will be held 11:30 A.M. Thursday at Clemmons Presbyterian Church with Dr. William Hoyle officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 P.M. at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel.
