Stephan (Steve) Kiser

Mr. Stephan (Steve) Dale Kiser, age 66 of Rural Hall passed away Monday, May 2, 2022 at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Kiser was born May 4, 1955 in Forsyth County to Mack Lee Kiser and Geraldine Kiser. Steve graduated in 1977 from UNC-Charlotte with a degree in political science.  He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Winston-Salem.  Here, he volunteered as church historian, LifeGroup Leader, Deacon, and Missions Leader.  Steve had a heart for missions in West Virginia.  Over the years he worked for a variety of organizations; Habitat for Humanity, Salvation Army, Pilot Mountain Baptist Association, and others.  In addition to his parents Mr. Kiser was preceded in death by his one sister, Sharon Lynn Kiser. Mr. Kiser is survived by his Aunt Priscilla Grubbs and several cousins. A favorite quote of Steve’s: “A man is truly mature when he plants trees under whose shade he will never sit.”  Elton Trueblood.  A Memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m., Sunday, May 22 at Bethany Baptist Church by Dr. Brad Stamey and Rev.
