Stephanie Stephens

Walkertown – Ms. Stephanie “Jill” Stephens, 59, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at her residence. She was born on April 14, 1963, in Rowan County to William and Mikell Stephens. Jill had a green thumb and loved plants and flowers. She enjoyed spending time at the beach. Jill also loved to spend time with her family whom she loved very much. She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

Jill was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Seth Robey Mull and Vivian Huntley Mull and a brother, Mark Stephens.

In addition to her parents, Jill is survived by her two daughters, Sara Stephens (Mika) and Amanda Leigh Stephens (Matt); husband, Tim Stephens; two grandchildren, Caleb Daniel Gibson and Zoey Leigh Shimp; one brother, Michael Thad Stephens; and two stepbrothers, Terry Tolley and Mark Ellison.

There will be no formal service at this time. However, the family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel.
