Stella Smothers Jackson

KERNERSVILLE-Mrs. Stella Smothers Jackson, 73, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at her home. She was a special person to all who knew her. Mrs. Jackson was born June 26, 1936 in Bluefield, WV to the late Albert L. and Kathleen Smothers. Stella enjoyed a successful career as a realtor with Prudential Carolinas Realty. She also attended The Summit Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, George ""Bo"" Jackson. Surviving are her son, David Jackson; one sister, Jane Muncey and husband Ben; and one brother, Pete ""Al"" Smothers and wife Nancy. A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 pm Friday, February 26, 2010 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Jonathan Robbins officiating.
