HAWKS WINSTON-SALEM - Mrs. Stella Trivette Hawks, 84, passed away Monday, May 10, 2010. She was born in Forsyth County on October 5, 1925 to the late Noah Aaron Trivette and Ella Mackey Trivette. Mrs. Hawks retired from Brady Furniture Factory in Rural Hall and was a member of First Baptist Church of Stanleyville. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hawks was preceded in death by her husband, William Wayne Hawks; one daughter, Bonnie Dance; five brothers and one sister. Surviving are one daughter, Bernice Winebarger of Winston-Salem; two sons, Eugene Hawks of Walkertown and Gary Hawks and wife, Brenda of Mocksville; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and three great, great-grandsons. A Funeral Service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, May 13 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with the Rev. Eddie Honeycutt officiating. Burial will follow at First Baptist Church of Stanleyville. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, May 12 at the funeral home.
