Stacy Boles Thomas

Mrs. Stacy Iowa Boles Thomas, 89 of Clemmons passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born January 16, 1926 in Stokes Co. to John Henry and Bertha Calhoun Boles. She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Thomas, Jr. and a son, Charles David Thomas. Surviving are two daughters, Doris Lawrence and husband Jim of Phoenix, AZ and Joan McCauley and husband Steve of Mebane; two sons, Bill Thomas and wife DeEtta of Clemmons and George Mark Thomas and wife Sandra, of King; a daughter-in-law, Sharon Thomas of Lexington; seven grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel with Pastor Tracy Webb officiating. Burial will follow at Old Orchard Primitive Baptist Church in Quaker Gap. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
