Sondra Michelle Whitaker Southard

KERNERSVILLE - Sondra Michelle Whitaker Southard, 45, a loving mother, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2012. She was born October 3, 1967 in Guilford Co., daughter of Tom and the late Sherry Cline Norris. Sondra graduated from Boiling Springs High School class of 1985 in Spartanburg, SC. She attended Appalachian State University, graduated from pharmacy technical school and worked as a pharmacy technician. Surviving are her three children, Tera Nicole, Tyler Thomas, and Brandon DePaul Southard all of Kernersville; father of her children, Dave Southard of Kernersville; sister, Stephanie Smith and husband, Ryan of Asheboro; niece and nephew, Mason and Isabelle; father and step-mother, Tom and Debbie Norris of Todd; and her dog Cody Jo. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Mark Norris officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 4-A Oak Branch Drive, Greensboro, NC 27407.
