Solomon Burgess Fulk Jr.

Mr. Solomon Burgess Fulk, Jr., 63, went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, December 3, 2015. He was born May 31, 1952 in Surry County to the late Ethel Key Fulk and Solomon Burgess Fulk, Sr. In addition to his parents, Mr. Fulk was preceded in death by two brothers, Warren and Curtis Fulk; one sister, Elba Joyce (L.B.). He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Bonnie Heath Fulk; two daughters, Angel Hayes (Ted) and Susan Jonas (Harry); four grandchildren: Emily Hayes, Kayleigh Jonas, Drew Hayes, and Jake Hayes; two sisters, Vivia Tilley (Johnny) and Joan Key (Bill Norman); two sisters-in-law, June and Louise Fulk; and his canine companions, Roscoe and Zoi. A funeral service will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 6 at Fairview United Methodist Church in Pinnacle with the Rev. Bill Roberts, Pastor Ron Riddley, and Dr. Blue Byrian officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
