Shirley Beeson Terrell

Kernersville - Mrs. Shirley Louise Beeson Terrell, age 79, passed away Friday, March 20, 2015 at Pennyburne at Maryfield in High Point. She was born in Forsyth County, raised in Kernersville, August 20, 1935 to the late Essie Blanche Stanley Beeson and Raymond Franklin Beeson. Shirley was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a charter member of Gospel Light Baptist Church. She loved to garden, cook and work. Shirley retired from Sarah Lee Hosiery in Winston Salem, after 30 years of service. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years; William Isaac Terrell.

Surviving are; two daughters, Debbie Spring (Gary), Sherry Evans (Larry), three grandchildren Kaitlin, Nicholas, and Hannah, a great granddaughter, Ariadne, one sister Phyllis Trexler, and three brothers; Howard, Leon, and Stanley Beeson, and her loving black lab, Patsy.

A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday, March 23, 2015 at Gospel Light Baptist Church with Dr. Bobby Roberson and Rev. Frank Shumate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory in Kernersville.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association Western Carolina Chapter 3800 Shamrock Drive Charlotte, NC 28215.
