Shirley Haigwood

Ms. Shirley Mae Arrington Haigwood, 82, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2018. She was born in Forsyth County on November 10, 1935 to the late Lillie Francis Long Arrington and Amos Spiral Arrington Sr. In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by one sister, Evelyn A. McInnis and four brothers: Amos Jr., Charles, Bobby, and Norman Arrington. Surviving are one brother, Richard E. Arrington; a special nephew, Richard C. Arrington; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. A memorial service will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 20, at White Road Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard C. Arrington and the Rev. Roger Robinson officiating. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Vicky and Michael Roberson for the exceptional care and love given to Shirley.
